Temperature of hot water for cleaning function?

The floor drain is equipped with a hot water-based cleaning system that heats, melts and flushes greasy deposits from the heat recovery system's heat exchanger, among other things.

Hot water cleaning works well at hot water temperatures above about 50°C. So if you have a legionella-proof hot water installation (requiring hot water temperatures above 50°C at the tap water point), then you will also have adequate hot water cleaning.

More from the knowledge bank

The installation of the Enduce energy recovery floor drain leads to a significant reduction of energy consumption during the operational phase (EPD module B1).
Calcareous water does not have a problematic impact on the floor drain either on the gray water side (used shower water) or the tap water side.
Series production and assembly take place mainly in Sweden. The product consists largely of recycled material. The brass is lead-free.
