The connection of the waterproofing membrane to Enduce E1 is made either via a traditional clamping frame connection for waterproofing membrane or for plastic mat.The floor drain is type tested and meets the requirements for both wall and non-wall installation.

For the tile version, a system-approved waterproofing foil from APEX is used, which is connected to the floor drain with type approval against currently 25 of the largest waterproofing suppliers on the market.
For wet room carpet, the floor drain is tested for near-wall and non-wall installation with Tarkett's range of wet room carpets.

Currently (2024-03-04) there is waterproofing approval between the APEX floor drain sleeve and the following waterproofing systems:

More from the knowledge bank

The design of the shower area and the location of the ventilation system play a major role in shower comfort, bathroom climate and, not least, energy efficiency.
According to Boverket, the contribution of energy-saving technologies to improving energy performance may be included in the calculations based on the demonstrated energy savings of the technology.
Enduce does not reduce water consumption overall, but hot water consumption does. The resource saving lies mainly in the energy and not in the water.
